Caroline Bush was such a tiny new born! She had the most precious, little feet! Her mom and dad had their house nice and hot for us so little Caroline was nice a comfy and poseable for the session:)

   Her brother Gavin loved being part of the photo shoot. You could tell he was still trying to navigate how he felt about becoming a big brother. They were adorable to photograph together! During our visit we were able to get a few family picture too. Such a sweet family!

   This was our fourth photo session with the Speth family! We just love these little girls! Their energy and the way they play together just cracks us up! It’s been really cool to catch up with the Speths over time:)

   We met up on a beautiful fall afternoon for this session. The open spaces and fresh air had the girls wanting to play and run around. (Who could blame them!) Their dog Marley even joined up for a few photos.

   The fall back drop was gorgeous and we were able to get some precious family shots. Thanks for the fun afternoon Speths!

   It’s always flattering to gain a client from a previous photoshoot! Lydia was actually a bridesmaid in a wedding randy and I photographed the year before. So working with her and her fiancé Doug was really fun and natural since we’d already spent a day with them.

   This engagement session was photographed at Minooka Park in Waukesha. A lot of the leaves had already fallen but we were able to find a few trees that were still hanging on to their autumn colors.

   We can’t wait to photograph Lydia and Doug’s wedding day!

   We totally loved photographing these two little guys. Liam had so many pose ideas for randy and I. We loved the help?

   Retzer was the perfect place for the boys to run from one photo opp to the next. We brought along a crate for the boys to sit on along with some pumpkins I grabbed off my moms front porch! (Thanks mom) The boys loved holding the pumpkin props!

   So Laura was actually a client of my (Ellen) sister in law who is also a photographer. Her schedule got mixed up so she asked if randy and I would be willing to take them out to get some family photos taken. Of course we did! I’m so glad we did. Her family was a lot of fun! They all had a silly sense of humor and were up for anything.

   We got pictures of the cousins on the swing set, climbing the jungle gym, and even got some jumping photos.

   This particular family was a joy to shoot because it is my sister in laws family! We met up at one of our favorite photography locations, Retzer Nature Center. With dirt paths that trail off behind the subjects and pine tree back drops this place is a lot of fun to shoot at.

   One of my sister in laws little nephews wasn’t feeling very good but he was such a good sport for this photo shoot. It probably helped having gramma there to cuddle with between shots?

   So glad we were asked to take these photos! They were a very laid back family. With non stop joking and laughing it wasn’t hard to get some great happy shots of this family.

   I just love this little family! Ashly and Drew are so nice and Ellia is such a sweetie pie! We actually met Ashly and Drew the first time while taking Ellia’s new born photographs. They asked us to take these new family photos at a park near by their house followed by Ellia’s 1st birthday party pictures at their home.

   We first made sure to get photos of Ellia by this adorable sign her mama made for her. She looked so grown up in her tiny gold tassel booties and toile skirt. Adorable!!

   Randy and I always love to photograph happy events because all the smiles and laughs are so natural…we love to be surrounded by friends and family who love each other. Makes for relaxed fun shoots.

   This is the second photo session we’ve had with the Lazebnick family. It was really neat to see them again after a year and see how much little David had grown.

    He was so shy during his first family session. This time around he really came out of his shell. Our first family session was at Frame Park in Waukesha. This time we met at one of our favorite places to photograph…Retzer Nature Center. They had some Autumn decor all around one of the paths so that really piqued David’s interest as we made our way around. So cute!

   Randy and I met Kelsey and Doug at Retzer Nature Center for their engagement session.

   There’s a loop trail that we like to take our clients on because you get a little bit of structure with the board walk and bridge and long dreamy grass that makes for great nature photos. We like to try and end the session up on the hill that Retzer is known for.
We made the trek up there with Doug and Kelsey. Glad we did! The sky was so pretty and gave us a really soft light to work with.

   Randy and I are excited to shoot their upcoming wedding! It’ll feel so natural with them on their big day after this fun engagement shoot. What a lovely couple they make:)

   What a beautiful girl Veda is! I loved photographing this senior:) She brought her mom with her which made for fun company.

   We had a super sunny day to contend with so we tried to really use the trees that were around us. It turned out really nicely and Veda looked stunning.

   I thought it was really cool that she wanted to represent the Green Bay Packers by wearing her packer jersey and posing with a football! Cute idea! (GO PACK!)
With four outfit changes and quite a lot of walking we were able to get some beautiful photos of Veda.
